..MNIK as a movie was trash,,,,but the way product was launched,,they took every opportunity ,,srk played games raising pak players issue n that airport fiasco,,,,everythin contributed....

You are WRONG - no movie can survive overseas ONLY on marketing - if that was the case, Housefull would have been equally successful overseas but it has FAILED inspite of hype, starcast etc.
