When I look

at the movies of yesteryears and compare them to the crap churned out today,my heart sinks.I wish I was born in that era...the 60s,70s when actors were real and emoted instead of becoming mannequins all the while being helped by a tiny pinch of nepotism.
RIP Mac.....You will never be forgotten

u can still get dvds of old movies .u r right the present movie makers have to relearn the whole art of movie making by taking cues from old classics.not that all old films were nice.

Well not all but most were gems....what I meant is that even the masala films were quality.I mean technically even Sholay was a masala movie and look at how good it is,now compare it to the turds churned out in the last decade or so?
The 80s sucked what with all the cheese but they had quality "art" cinema to go along with it.
I can count on my fingers all the films from 2000 to 2010 which will actually be remembered 30 years from now....lets see
1.)Swades
2.)Lagaan
3.)Dev D
4.)Black
5.)Lol.......Thats it for my list atleast

Mac was in more better films from 75-78 than the whole 00 decades combined

Right...The trouble is present day film makers have different agendas. As they say sex sells, the producers are quite busy in selling sex n violence thru movies. The audience must stop watching craps.
