1. He was a ordinary actor. 2. He got seriously lucky with Sholay. 3. He was recently seen in a Farhan Akhtar film where Farhan is a struggling actor. 4. He remained a side-kick villian almost always, never essaying the main villain roles.

Dude, you cant get "Lucky" to act in 175 films and span a career over 46 years. And its bad to comment negatively of a person who expired.

fortunately, idiots like u won't be praised even when they die! Get a life, loser!
Old peoples are being remembered for just a small role even today and movies releasing now a days just coming & getting vanished. Hindi movies are felling badly due to the following reasons:- 1. Script 2. Music 3. Poor Dialogues (Even we can't understand what actor is saying & to ask the person seating next to us "Arre yeh kya bola?' 4. Most Importantnly Hindi movies are rapidly loosing Indianness, neither Indian nor Western? Already Rural audience got separated from Hindi movies. It seems 80's decade started again. Badly miss music of Nadeem-Shravan,Jatin-Lalit,Anand Milind,Anu Mallik etc. Let's hope Hindi movies gets back on track.
I was in my teenage years when Sholay was released. I still remember the whistles in the theatre when late Macmohan responded to Gabbar's question. The way it was delivered, nobody could have done it better.
Macmohan has done justice to all his characters in all the movies he has acted.Movie fans who have grown seeing his films in the 60s,70s and 80s will miss him.
May his soul rest in peace and peace be unto you.We miss you.

Yeah, your comments made me roll back to those fab days when life was fun and relaxed and full of spirits. The Indian film industry golden days can be termed from 1950s to mid 1980s. The ones in 1960s and 1970s were simply mind blowing and delightful. What stars we had and what style they had, fantastic. Sholay ran for 5-6 years continiously, made legends of Amjad Khan, MacMohan, Sanjeev Kumar and of course the golden three Dharmendra, Amitabh and Hema Malini. Every scene was so good. The 1st three are gone and the last three are there. Mac was also memorable in Don, Majboor, Shaan, Satte Pe Satta, Charas, etc. He was a good sidekick and made a impression with a couple of punchy dialogues. May his soul rest in peace, farewell Mac!!!
