Reading your comment gives me the impression that none of the review was meant for you. There has to be one for the semi-semi-semi 'educated' as well.
as pointed by others below....first rediff critic raja sen tears this movie apart with his 1 star review....and after yashraj and rediff too mgmt screwed his ass....another reviewer is called and the ratings r improved....how cheap!!!!!! anyways...rediff ratings r never reliable....u can always see two reviews for any given movie..floating around on rediff.......but this time....it has been proved....REDIFF IS BIASED!!!!!!!!!!!!

well..fine I am ready to overlook the rediff review, but what about other reviews?-they have all given negative reviews for the film-do I ignore them as well?

check out the reviews fro the film on ndtv, cnn-ibn, hindustan times and u will find none of them have given more than 2 stars to the movie

Do you decide which film to watch and which not, based on reviews????
As u have maintained, different people look for different things in a film, and I personally decide whether to watch a film or not, based on my own view, watching promos, etc, and not based on any review.

hahahaa.. kanya.. these ppl are idiots.. rediff always gives bad ratings for all movies except srk movies.. they either give a movie 1n half or directly 5 stars..
Rediff advertised BD on nearly every page before and for a few days after the release. Then, rediff's own critic Raja sen does something that that didn't go down well with rediff management and yashraj films. So rediff begins operations makeover, Bring in an average reviewer like sukanya verma and try convince readers that its not that bad. What jokers this media
Why only this movie is given a second review with a title " Is badmaash compnay really that bad". This after having themselves given a bad review. You don't see a second chance given to other badly reviewed films. The reason is simple. Call received at rediff offices from yashraj films thretening to stop advertising on rediff unless another review (a positive one this time) is published. Shame on rediff for falling into this trap.
I am a techie from blore and the shows were packed in the weekend in PVR. But we still managed to get a ticket for 300 and it was more than worth it. I watched housefull too and it rocked. Great to see bolly come up with such diverse yet totally entertaining movies. ANushka acted awesome, so did shahid. I cant understand why the so called critics trashed it. IMO, Taran adarsh is the fairest, as he gave 4 stars and 3 stars respectively.

To call Housefull a good movie is difficult to imagine. Well u r entitled to your opinion . That was surely testing whether we have brains at all ( i am not talking about intelligence). But, nitrous oxide laughing gas with queen, Akshay kumar doing vacuum cleaning (Mr.Bean copy), stammering of second hero (tamil movie of kamalhassan copy) and in the last scene only character in movie were laughing.. not the audience. Pin drop silence in theatre. Please lets not encourage movies of this type.. else we will keep getting more of this no-brainers that questions our basic mental capabilities itself. Highly retarded movie

Raja Sen had trashed 3 Idiots too! Time he took up a different vocation because his reviews are not dependable.
