Russell's comic timing is awesome! Some people may not like his racial humour cause most of us(especially Asians) have a very poor sense of humour, especially when it comes to laughing on ourselves! We can laugh at others in a second, but we are ready to start riots if someone cracks a joke related to our country, language, culture etc. And Russell doesn't only makes fun of Asians, he makes fun of Arabs, Blacks, and even Whites! If we really think about what he says from a neutral point of view, there are certain things which are funny in all of us! :)
Russell Peters thinks bollywood and Indian movies are overaction, and makes fun of Indian dancing and singing.
I would have liked him if he had kept his feelings about bollywood and Indian movies to himself instead of hurting Indian sentiments.
He makes up all the shit in his shows. I don't find it all that funny majority of the time. That's just me. May be his shows are meant for kids, immatured and "not so serious about life' people.

agree to u. please see some of his acts on youtube and you would realise that he makes fun of the indians in front of the goras. he makes fun of his roots, his parents, his nation all to earn this money that he can then generously donate.he gets money not from his comedy but from his audience's desire to demean a growing nation.

TRUE, Even Indian movies r full of Saabji words depicting Ppl from Nepal, I dono how those pple take it. If some pple find their style funny, let them enjoy atleast. May be same this guy Peter is doing .. I havnt envn seen his acts.
