awesome akki, hardly much hype like MNIK and media support, HF has already turned hit and will be the 1st superhit or blockbuster of 2010. did you see akki's starpower now.
Nowdays movies make money by releasing in many theatres and a lot of publicity. This is such a Trash movie. After a week or so the halls run empty and some die hard fans still show collection figures to justify a pathetic movie.
It is for the first time in the history of Indian cinema that a tiger shown chilling out in a living room with big stars.I saw that in the film promos. Must be a never b4 movie!!!

yesterday i saw the movie to get out of the office tension after seeing the movie for 10 min i thought office was much better..booooooring sajid & crew might have enjoyed in making the movie in exocatic location but it costed our money with no result
Housefull has broken the bad run over the last few weeks by recording extraordinary first weekend business. The weekend has has grossed around 31.50 crore nett. Business is fabulous all over, even territories like West Bengal and Mysore which are known to be historically weak for Akshay Kumar starrers are fabulous.
The first weekend business is the second highest in the history of Hindi cinema. The weekend business has almost ensured the film is a theatrical hit in India and now the weekdays and second weekend will decide if the film can emerge a Super Hit or Blockbuster. The first week is looking to finish somewhere between 45-50 crore nett, this will depend on how it sustains on Monday.
It remains to be seen what is in store for Housefull on Monday but with the film on a upward trend from Friday to Saturday to Sunday the odds are that it may sustain well. Normally a big film falls slightly on Saturday if the opening is strong but Housefull showed a jump. It could be said it was a holiday Saturday but when this happens with a major film which has not been liked then collections fall on Sunday and even here Housefull showed a healthy jump.
Housefull sits in second place amongst the biggest first weekend (Fri- Sun only) grossers. Below are the top ten first weekend nett grossers. 1. Three Idiots (2009) - 38 cr nett 2. Housefull (2010) - 31.50 cr nett 3. My Name Is Khan (2010) - 30 cr nett
What is this Tough? Story? Narration? Screenplay? what? OR bearing that Movie is Tough?...Try being specific to understand what it is...Almost every movie is Tough with a Thumbs up ...

3 idiots ... definitely. It was a self glorification drive by Mr. Amir Khan at the expense of 2 lesser mortals. Was worth only on a overused pirated cd.

The film is as cheap as director and actors of movie.. how can they say that it will broke records of 3 idiots..it is not 0.1 % of 3 idiots..I think sajid khan has grown up only physically but he is like 5 year kid mentally..thats why he is making such non sense comments before release of movie..crap fellow.. how these people (makers of housefull) think that people have such less eye queue as them.. First half was like Mr BEAN.. second half copied from many hollywood and bollywood movies earlier.. I think its time there for akki to grow up.. will he able to give performance ever like aamir khan did in 3 idiots,lagaan,rang de basanti or srk did in swades,mnik,chak de. Never..He is wasting his time and talent by working with such directors..He is far better actor than this..please start doing some sensefull movies akshay.. It got good good opening due to 2main reasons: 1. over publicity.. 2.good release time.. had it been released 10 days back or even after 10 days it would have been bigger flop than RGV ki aag.

Its freedom of choice, what may not be pleasant to one person, may be to another. You have to have credibility in posting the message three times. The director, Sajid Khan, had openly said that this film is not for psuedo-intellectuals; and if you consider yourself to be one, the message is loud and clear. And if not, does it matter.
