Actually it does occur in nature. In bonobos there is bisexuality and research suggests that using sex rather than violence may be why they are one of the most peaceful creatures on earth. Homosexuality has also been known to occur in wolves, penguins, and dolphins. So it is difficult to claim homosexuality is unnatural when it clearly does occur in nature... whether for population explosion reasons or to prevent violence within the species. People who claim it is "unnatural" are speaking from ignorance.
