tis movie may not b entertainin as d first part..but this is definitely better tan d current crop of movies...i stay in mumbai..even here d film has been received well by family audience..everyone was good..d joks gags,,climax..appukuttan was well restrained as compared to d second part..in all u wont get bored...its much better dan d mindless comedies tat we have seen...hope it does well at d box office...i wont get bored watchin these guys again nd again tey just rock..
Well, I really don’t understand some people commenting on the movie as boring! It wasn’t boring at all, but mallus have got an attitude to dump movies with a tinge of horror as rubbish due to the “Buji” attitude…Herd some similar verdicts about Albutha dweep, Akashaganga etc. It certainly was not to be this time though.
It was a thoroughly entertaining movie to say the least. I am from Trivandrum, but I watched the movie from Thrissur Ragam .The crowd there was amazing.
I came there along with my friends sufficiently early. But the crowd was enormous, and finally we had to settle for balcony tickets sold in Black for 100 a piece after much bargaining. The scene in the theatre was absolutely electric.
We went there loaded for the fun; we had whistles, paper crumbs, balloons and all. The film began. The opening sequence was befitting a Hollywood movie. I liked the dark backgrounds that were depicted. The theme song graphics were catchy and created a spooky mood.
The film began as usual, the colorful flashy vibrant youthful minded fabulous 4 lands in the bungalow. The first half was running like auto rickshaw meter in Kochi...Hardly did we come to know that it was interval time. The scenes, visual effects, camera work, sound effects were equally good. I dont think Malayalis suffer from a 'Buji' attitude and thats the reason why they call crap as crap.
Its because MOST OF THEM have something called common sense.
This was a ridiculous film that was too boring to say the least. The opening credits was like a Hollywood film? Well.. that depends on how many Hollywood films you have seen.
If Albhuthadweep and Akashaganga are the two other films that had similar verdicts and if u liked both of them, I rest my case.
Situation comedies are really missing. Most of comedies are unnecessary created, which is boring. The last 5 minutes of climax and last title display is the only highlighted part of the film.
Jagadeesh’s role was too pathetic, where his actions resemble a mentally retarded person.
I had already booked my tickets for today..and then unfortunately read the review here and on nowrunning...and expected the movie to be pathetic...but i was surprised...it was decently well made movie..yes 2nd half does bore at times, but then lal knows how to make a money spinner. he also knows tat u can make a stupid movie and still make money...coz thats wat the viewer wants..total timepass and this movie offers it in plenty. The last 10 mins of the movie..along with the titles was jus fab...
I saw the movie today. To be frank i was disappointed with the movie. It is true that sequels may not be as good as the first movie but atleast it should come close to that. The consolation for spending the money was the set of funny clips at the end....those were awesome especially the ones with Nedumudi.... the one where he stops the car and the one where Jagadeesh keeps hitting him on his chest...

Film is as good as 2 Harihar Nagar.. Climax was superb and first half is laugh riot.. Half an hour after the Interval, the movie turns to a horror one with boring scenes.. However, the amazing climax and some numbers of Jagdeesh made the movie worth watching....

I had like to see an analysis of the movie - story line, technical aspects, stuff around why it works/not works etc. Instead what I see here is 4 paragraphs of it's director's biography!
