Hats off to Naseer Bhai. Without doubt he is one of the finest to come out of India. The best thing about him is that he is never afraid of calling spade a spade.

and you remain in between your chick's thighs.. that's where you belong!
I wonder whom he's talking about when he says 'sitting on Malabar Hill and making films about the starving peasants of Bihar'. I think its about Aamir making Peepli Live.

Oh Yes!
If you happen to bump into him at an airport or at a theatre and keep minding your own business, he looks at you -DIDNT YOU RECOGNISE ME?- sort of looks!
He once bashed up a security guard at Prithvi theatre in Bombay who refused permission as the gates should be closed when time is up for entry! Prithvi like NCPA is very strict about timings!
He always wants to be treated as a star and had this intensity in his eyes.
When Richard Attenborough didnt select him for Gandhi role, it was because Gandhis role needed a saintly look in the eyes which Naseer didnt have. Naseer cried foul stating that Dick Attenborough was racist in a very subtle sophisticated manner which is not the case.
Many in the subcontinent like to think that Naseer is the finest actor; He likes to give impression by putting loudness at the cost of nuances that deserve in the character.
He like Al Pacino (to some extent he apes him in a very subtle fashion) chooses those roles and make general public that he is a very fine actor.
To me and also to many who are conversant with theatre and acting, Om Puri is a far superior actor than Naseer.
If I can draw an analogy of sorts, Om is like Anthony Hopkins type who does it in a subdued way than the loud garish types of Al Pacino sorts!
