Horrible movie
by Sameer Bhagwat on Mar 29, 2010 06:09 AM  | Hide replies

This was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long long time. Why can't Mallus be Mallus and make movies that represent them instead of this type of Bollywood trash?

Why are South Indians so bad looking?!

Just looking at them makes me want to vomit!

And these people have the cheek to make movies and release them!

If I wanted to see something this bad looking, I would go to the primate section of the zoo!

South Indians! Have some shame and cover yourselves when in non-South Indian company!

Better still, stay in the South and do not travel to other parts of the country!!

Just because you see something horrible every time you look in the mirror doesn't mean it is everyone's experience!

BTW, I am Punjabi! That means I am 1000000 times better looking than all you primates!!

It is alright! I understand you are in pain!

With a face like you South Indians have, anybody would be in pain especially after knowing that no amount of plastic surgery can repair your kind of bad looks!!

family hype
by Manoj on Mar 27, 2010 12:40 PM

Really wondering why malayalees are sooo eager to make the creative film industry a family business..This Prithviraj is 100% a family hype and his acting skill is average.

prithvi is a new actor...i think he has potential to act in good films....some films may be bad..it happened with all superstars of malayalam..it is not good to make blind comments...i saw some stupids even made some comments on his father....both his father and mother belongs to well known families...

plz be a little more selective. Thanthonni is a good for nothing film. Movies such as this will
keep keralites away from theater.

Malayalee And The Movie
by Harish Menon on Mar 23, 2010 11:25 AM  | Hide replies

The day our creative artistes decided to forget the quintessential Malayalee and looked to transform him into a fake glob-trotting, tech-savvy, gun-toting, thickly-accented English-spewing dude, that day Malayalam cinema lost its soul.

To blame is everyone -- producers old and new, directors, old and new, scriptwriters old and new, actors old and new, technicians old and new.

Yes. I agree with you harish. Malayalam films were indeed creative and different from the unrealistic films of other languages. To our dismay, Mollywood has decided to follow suit.

Beta Prithvi, Malayalis want Substance not Style
by Kalyan Kumar on Mar 23, 2010 08:51 AM  | Hide replies

Sukumaran, baap of Prithvi had a unique style and was called "Dialogue Veeran". But his son has none, except some style gimmicks. Malayalis are no fools to be flattened by style they need substance in any artist.

PR indulges in overacting and reminds of school level drama acting.

Star kids get chances on a platter and survive somehow. But Prithvi Raj needs to understand his limitatitions in talent and does not except repeat sucess with Jayasurya combination (like Nazir-Bhasi of 60s). At this rate it is doubtful, he can ensure a silver jubilee run like Lal or Mammuty.

If acting is weak, he may turn to the business side of cinema and Keralites won't ever complain they miss Prithvi Raj or Inderjith. All the Best

What is wrong in being an M&M Fan? The brilliance they can produce on the screen is acknowledged by everyone. The new actors should be able to produce that first, then stake claim for the throne of Superstar. Check out the Tamil scene - Suriya proved his talent before he was called a Superstar...

Why are u bringing in the Superstar topic???
Prithvi is a good actor and one shouldnt judge his acting since some of his films flopped.

Majority of the malayalee audiences do not accept him as a super star.I dont know why some body is trying to glorify Prithvi Raj. He is delivering his dialogues in the same style. A high pitched dialogue presentation. Indrajit is even a better actor.
