Frieda Pinto has got this role due to the reservation policy in Hollywood of giving job to some bad looking girls.

bond girls have always been tall, have SOME sort of a figure, aren't size zero - never ever, and they are almost always well endowed.

bond girl requirements are not a tomboy, smallish girl, who's hardly got any appeal. unless bond is absolutely stoned and falls for any street ore.

frieda might be good, but not a bond girl by any stretch of imagination.

She is a stick figure with a very average face.

A face where you can find anywhere in India.

Its just the obsession of White Americans about tanned skin and the Slumdog hype that Frieda is riding right now.

Frieda looks like a 12year old boy.

There have been plain jane bond girls - tons of them
Look at Izabella Scorupco from Golden Eye. As flat chested as a girl can get, not very tall either.
