3. SRK and Aamir war of words justify and has eqaul blame. Aamir being acerbic in his remarks is for the remarks he has made against Seniors like Javed Akhtar and writer Chetan Bhagat.
4. Aamir dont do hype.. are u joking. He used every toll to hype his movie and do controversy. When RNBDJ was about to release and 26/11 happens SRK STOPS PROMOTING THE MOVIE BUT AAMIR CONTINEUS WITH HIS CHEAP AND SHAMELESS PROMTIONS ACTIVITIES
As far as Chetan Bhagat issue is concerned. He has no right to comment on the excellent writer that "he is hunger for publicity", even though he has not himself read the book, confirmed by hims. This only shows his arrogance and emptyness.
AAmir has the tendency to go safe. 3 IdioTs is masala movie, nothing special, Another romantic flick ,with hero - heroine dancing and those faltu jokes.
MNIK is quite above 3 Idiots. It was challenging role done with perfection. The movie was also not an another feel good movie. It was made with the purpose and it has served it.
Like Aamir, SRK doesn't rely on Diwali or Christmas festival. He has the dare to release movie anytime. He is not depend upon any festival.
Also what was the role of Aamir in 3 Idiots. There is little credit to him for the success, remember the film name is 3 Idiots not 1 Idiot.
Aamir has never experipented with his role. Always have the tendency to go safe with a feel good movie. The only experiment he has done is with his hair styles. He is an average actor with to much limelight.

Dear PPl Though the debate is endless about who is the last man standing between AK and SRK but some facts are pretty obvious. 1.Whereas Aamir goes into the skin of the character, SRK mostly converts the character into SRK..wether he plays the historic Asoka or the uber cool DON, its the same smile, same characteristic laughter, same movement of eyes and eyebrows and all.
2.Almost every hit of SRK is with an equally successfull heroine (Kajol,Madhuri,Rani) whereas AK has delivered hits opposite Sonali and Gracy as well..and apart from that SRK mostly confines his choice of movies to Yashraj films and for Karan Johar. 3.About a point raised in the discusion abt AK being acerbic in his remarks, just remember that AK has only retaliated.It was SRK who started the war of words by making fun of Aamir in almost every awards function..AK's strong retaliation has only infuriated SRK which made him use words like 'Chichorapandi' against Aamir. 4 About using hype for his films, its an industry norm for almost every production house..and SRK is a better hype creater than Aamir.Remember SRK's quote " I was caught in the airport because MY NAME IS KHAN" and lastly about not givivng credits to Mr Chetan Bhagat, Amir does not need to score brownie points over CB as definitly there are more people going to watch movie rather than read a book. Aamir is the most overrated actor of this time. He is being the part of few good movies. But most of te time its overhype that's worked for him. All in all till date he has given 17 hits only as compare to 26 hits of SRK, EVEN THOUGH HE HAS STARTED HIS CAREER 4 YEARS IN ADVANCE.

hahaha, even mithun chakraborthy have more hits compared to his investment. Well, there is also akshay kumar who have given more hits than SRK...
Anyway if want to see the ratio - it is
Aamir Khan did 38 movies till now, while SRK did 70 movies.
Hit % of Aamir - 17/38 - 45% Hit % of SRK - 26/70 - 37%

Mithun is having 9 superhits and Akshay 11 hits. Ammir go safe, dont experiment and just 8% greater success rate, thats pathetic. And even after experemening SRK maintains that success rate is tremendous.

Remember your SRK has done a lot of more movies than him and also under Big Banners movies which have worked... SO HATS OFF TO AAMIR THE PERFECTIONIST
Will cheapskates like Amir Khan learn how to respect the author behind the adapted screenplay.. learn the difference between original screenplay and adapted screenplay.. and also give the right credits and monetary share to the author... from great filmmakers like JC, SS?
Hollywood also makes the same masala movies... defying logic like Bollywood.. they are no different from us.. may be with a few extra grams of brains. BUt they know twothing s which we dont know.
THey are professional and respect the law.
Only in INdia can copycats like AmirKhan be potrayed as victims of copyright violations... when in reality, it is he who steals...!

How cheap--insulting a person on his birthday, insulting a sincere humble and genuine film personality, somebody who has always spoken of film making as a team effort where script, direction and music make the film, somebody who has credited success of 3I to the team, somebody who dares to step away from the rat race even while at the top--he doesn't need lessons from hater-commenters.
Incidentally--Aamir merely took sides--supported producer Chopra Dir Hirani and scriptwriter Joshi-- when Chetan Bhagat whined in public after attending film premiere, after tweeting his satisfaction with credits, after taking full payment for usage of his story--CB made full use of internet to get publicity and sympathy. What a spoilsport and partypooper--paisa liya, gave interviews till film release about his happiness in associating with film team --then used media to make himself look injured party and Bollywalas as villians. Read 'Society' Feb issue and understand that CB has been pulled up too, for his opportunistic complaining. Result--his very ordinary books sold off the shelves in next few days. Except for FPS his first book, none of his books have been special; the last one in fact contains some racist'dark skinned Tamil' writing.
Agreed that CB should have got better credit, upfront, not rolling.

Plus, referring to last comment from OP, about 'scumbag' being part of copyright panel--minister Kapol Sibal invited so called scumbag to be a part of panel. Aamir and SRK, both actor-producers of some repute--have been part of earlier talks involving industry disputes. These people are qualified and efficient, understanding of industry problems.
