How on earth can govt allow such rubbish to be served by channels like star plus,colors & Zee tv which are reinforcing stereotpyes & prejudices. If FTV shows t*pless women it is banned but what these programs are doing to the mindset is much more damaging in the long run. Which unbiased scientific study has said that more awareness is raised through TV shows-I say it reinforces bigotry at a subconscious level. There needs to be content Analysis done for these channels. No one realizes how much damage these programs are causing.Every issue that has kept this country back is reinforced subtly to cater to rural audience. This is going to hurt India in the long run. Whats sad is that this is made by people in Mumbai who I am assuming completely understand marketing & Consumer Behavior and after thorough Research have designed these programs that appeal to the masses. But govt needs to veer its face from Ftv & Mtv to these channels because in the long run these channels set the trend in terms of thinking for rural populace which needs to get out of the illiteracy & backward trench it is now.Scientific research is the key to understanding the impact of these programs

Oh please yaar. The 'cry' they have been giving is that "We are a social message serial" is a load of bull. They are only a TRP driven program.
