SRk does not stand out in any department. he messed up royally with his kkr experiment, until he had to concede that his presence was detrimental to the players, and his publicity hunger made his team look silly. he does not need an occasion to cry for attention, hes a publicity ore for all seasons

The biggest sar of bollywood doesnot requires anything to get attention. Whereever he will be, he will get it easily.
Even a hater like are not able to hold urself from commenting over his topic. Thats the magic of SRK. He is undoubtebly the biggest star of Bollywood.

AAMIR KHAN 3 IDIOTS was at the time where we had new year xmas. It benefited from a lot of people having off. MNIK came when INDIA AND US had exams. IPL fever but still did outstanding buss. LONG LIVE THE KING

Being a Mass Comm Student from Jamia Milia SRK probably know how to use it.
But more then this if you want this to stop then stop going to the blogs of SRK, as it increase the value response of this star and rediff definately love it.
Journalism is not now another form of publicity, it is infact the very prominent form of publicity and not now, its from the beginning.
Let me tell you one intersting figures, you know according to India Today survey on Celeb blogs more then fans their haters go to the blogs and add to the success of it around 60%.

MNIK has been made with 55 crore budget and distribution rights sold at 80 crore. It has recovered 108 crore from the domestic market and 88 crore from Intl.. Total 196 crore and still going well.
Ghajinni till was thee second higest earner has earned 150 crore worldwide, 115 crore domestic and 35 crore intl. Check the wikipedia.
So, MNIK is good enough to hold the 2nd position now in terms of earnings.
And The King SRK doesn't require festivals to make his film hit, asAamir releases every movie at festivals.
