Imagine if ever there is a full lenght Indian English 'serious' move. It'll be hit overseas as a 'comedy'.Foreigners just laugh at our accents. That accent is so lame and is the most ugly accent on the face of this planet?

Hey man, please grow up. English today is now a global language. Pronunciation is different in every country. British English pronunciation is completely different than Americans. So there is nothing to be ashamed of for Indian English accent. All the country pronounces different and it is globally accepted. Indians are generally good in English. At least better than Americans.

Why are we stressing on the ascent part.British English pronunciation is completly different from others who speak in English, So how can you standardise an ascent for a Language. So dont worry kid.. no-one will laugh.. Now India has more English speakers than the US and UK put together. So how can you say that the ascent of Indians are bad. Lets rephrase it as ascent of the English and the americans are bad. Language is counted by the number of people who speaks/ reads and write not by the ascent one speaks.. GROW up man..

by wizardo id on Mar 15, 2010 02:45 PM

farhaan maybe good as a director, and he's so far leveraged his connections to land himself a role as a hero. he hams way too much and acts too smart. even salman khan is better than him in the acting department!

Scratchy Farhan Akhtar...who made him hero?
by Deepak Raje on Mar 14, 2010 04:33 PM  | Hide replies

Farhan Akhtar...ordinary looks...no good physic...no good voice...infact irritating voice...zero acting. Farhan has only one dead wooden expression. He is tiresome to watch. Who made him hero? He is not an actor at all. Really sad days for Hindi film industry. He should go back to directing. How come well known actress like Deepika Padukone has accepted a role opposite a zero grade actor like Farhan. It is really damaging to her market image.

Mr. Raje.. Does being a "Syed Naseem" make a difference to u ... and probably thats the reason u are critcizing Farhan "Akhtar". As far as Farhan Akhtar is concerned, He is not great with his looks, but better than a lot other star sons, Good Physic.. Thats only needed if a role demands... so far he hasn't done any such Masculine kinda roles, and again irritating voice, zero acting... dear sir, did u forget Rock On !!!, his amazing acting and singing lifted the movie, unless u are of opinion that Arjum Rampal lifted the movie :) and hey u are talking about some well known actress "Deepika Padukone" ... has any one heard of her "great acting skills" even....

First introduction of english. Good global market. Down the line, aftre 20 years the entire Hollywood be in India and we will be exporting english movies so good money. What is wrong in that. In the meanwhile our own budding girls in next 2o years will be able to topless and nude scene without any hesitation. It is market that determines our values so tommorrow if you daughter in a topless scene so accept it. It was your choice about english. Bollywood takes clue from Hollybood not about story but also scene, cloth, exposure so accept. One day you will hear in your home that you motherf..r or any betterworld, be perapared for that. It is a matter of choice.
