panditji is amazing. the fastest fingers in the world and at 90. truly, hats off to him and no amount of words are enough praise nor would they do any justice.

nope...but it does affect his public image, & in india it matters a lot i think... ....i read about him that actually he pregnated some other decent fellow's wife,who was shivshankar's pupil at any point of time. this decent guy loved his wife so much that he kept mum even after this whole thing....the result was Norah Jones... that is the only reason that when ever i hear about his so called greatness....this thought comes in my mind that,the crime he commited against that innocent fellow can be justified...just because the guy who slept with him wife & had a child was a "great musician"....!!!!!

okk, buddy we the indians are brainless....or what-so-ever, but is it really fine with u and such other self proclaimed intelligent people to go around & sleep with other's spouses...??? is it the only indian media who has published about ravishankar's "virtues"..??? just remember mr. ajitbirdi.... a sin will always be sin...it will never be possible to cover it with curtains of "greatness" ...it will keep stinking under the layers...
