Definitely better than last time!
by Ajith Kumar on Mar 09, 2010 07:44 AM

Thank goodness some sense prevailed this year. Unlike last year, when one could well be forgiven for thinking they were giving out Razzies, this year the awards went to people who deserved it & not to those who deserved it the least. Last years awards were a joke & the worst in it 81 year history. Looks like they've learnt from their mistake.

Inglourious Oscars

I am glad that Avatar didnt win in the major categories... I am surprised that it even got nominated. I was disappointed that Inglourious Basterds didnt win the Screenplay or best picture award. :(

Glad for Sandra Bullock. She is an amazing actress ! I thought that either Avatar or Precious would get the Best Movie......but glad that Ms Bigelow was recognised.

I wonder if the Slumdog kids were watching & remembering their Red Carpet !

IT IS VERY HARSH ON JAMES CAMERON ... AFTER WORKING HARD ON EPIC LIKE AVATAR FOR MORE THAN 12 YEARS ... HE CAN NOT WIN ... THE HURT LOCKER ..IS ALSO A VERY GOOD MOVIE ... BUT AVATAR ..HAS GOT FAR MORE BETTER THAN THE HURT LOCKER ... I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR JAMES CAMERON .... ANYWAYS ... AVATAR HAS ALREADY BECOME .... GREATEST OF ALL TIME IN THE HEARTS OF WORLD AUDIENCE .

ha ha best movie and director keep dreaming but I wont be surprise it been nominated in best foreign film category. It is a perfect film for this liberal Oscar lobby, and with fox searchlight backing it has good chances of making it there.

For me the best picture should have gone to the wonderful 'Inglorious Basterds' and the best actor award to Sam Rockwell for 'Moon'(he wasnt even nominated! - yet another example on how Oscars are biased towards smaller production houses!)Though I liked Precious,I would have preferred DISTRICT9 winning best adapted screenplay. And am I the only person who hated Pixar's UP?I want another Finding Nemo please!
