Whereas films like Roja, Dilse, & now this Lamhaa show kashmir and its people's resoluteness in a positive light, the politico-goon nexus of Mebboooba undoes it all in one shot... Sad state India is today in... Someday even naxalism will become like this - there will emerge some boobrani from somewhere and declare naxalism is fair.

well my friend.. there already are people which say Naxalism is fair.. India always has such anti-nationals, throughout its history..
once a xtian gave me a paper where hinduism and Xity were compared just like the ads of TV or washing machines...u know those ads in newspapers where they create a checklist of features with competing brands...This feature is there in our brand but not in competing brands..In the same way those Xians were comparing Hinduism and Xity to claim superiority... As exp heaven is promised in hinduism - cross heaven is promised in Xity - Check can u believe it !!!! How low a faith can get .. Is it faith at all or just a mad race to add some numbers thru some marketing gimmicks???
whatever said...I feel the producer is playing it to the gallery. It was sad to hear the opening shot of the preview which loudly says Kashmir is the most dangerous place in the world. Stupid Bunty Walia!
What we have to fear more than the jehadis and missionaries..way way more, is the hindu right. They use the freedom and greatness of the hindu religion to work out exactly the same strategy and attitudes as the Muslim or Christian right, which is make the enemy of the other and to oppose, destroy it and protect a narrow view of hinduism. If this were so, we lose the whole beauty of our religion. Is there a point creating one more solidified, juicelss, monochromatic worldview. don't think so.

Initially, the Muslimcastesystem in India originated as Ashraf and Ajlaf divide: the Ashraf were the noblecastes, who came from foreign lands; theconvertedIndians were classed as the inferior Razil, Kamin or Ajlaf. This Ashraf-Ajlaf divide was a kind of apartheid so the talk of eqaulity in your religin is bull sh*t. that is why the OBCmuslimsare demanding reservation. the arabsarethemaster & themuslimsofthesubcontinentarethedalitsofislam. even theafghans consider themselves obove the pakistanis in heirarchy. in pakistan the land owning class are the uppercaste & theothersare thedalit

Muslimofthesubcontinent practises it. MohammedShabbirAnsari of Jalna, Maharashtra, should know. He founded the All-IndiaMuslimOBC Front, which is leading the battle against Ashraaf or uppercaste discrimination against Ajlaaf or lowercasteMuslims.
Ansari recalls how the "JamaateIslamiandother Muslimbodies would attackme when I said casteismexisted amongMuslimsadecade ago." He says even highly-educated Muslimspractisecaste. "A syed family from Hyderabad called off my second daughter's marriage proposal once the boy's mother learnt that I belonged to the julaha (weaver's community),"
Dr Annie besant has said "After a study of some forty years and more of the great religions of the world, I find none so perfect, none so scientific, none so philosophic, and none so spiritual as the great religion known by the name of Hinduism. The more you know it, the more you will love it; the more you try to understand it, the more deeply you will value it. Make no mistake; without Hinduism, India has no future. Hinduism is the soil into which India's roots are struck, and torn of that she will inevitably wither, as a tree torn out from its place. Many are the religions and many are the races flourishing in India, but none of them stretches back into the far dawn of her past, nor are they necessary for her endurance as a nation. Everyone might pass away as they came and India would still remain. But let Hinduism vanish and what is she? A geographical expression of the past, a dim memory of a perished glory, her literature, her art, her monuments, all have Hindudom written across them. India alone can save India, and India and Hinduism

That is correct..... The range & depth of Hinduism is great. This religion is not based on fictional books but on experiences indeed. One has to experiment to experience the truth. You cannot compare the light of Sun (Hinduism) with candle lights (Islam, Christainity)
