Bollywood = Nonsense Movies
by Passed on Jun 28, 2010 10:17 PM

Bollywood is full of people whose primary goal is to make movie to turn their black money in white, so they are least bothered about story, acting or direction. All that matters is that they should be able to recover the expected amount from the release.

Dare to be different
by nisha singh on Jun 28, 2010 07:47 PM  | Hide replies

Kites and Raavan are not bad movies. These are experiments by good teams with lots of hard work. But yes those who try different at times fail or some say people fail to understand. Anyways sometimes bad movies go hit like oso and sometimes good movies go flop like mera naam joker, lamhe, raavan.

nowadays there are biased reviews. kurban was praised to heaven by critics and when all the theatres pulled the movie out on sunday, critics blamed lack of understanding of audience.
kites and raavan were critisized in reviews for sake of criticism. i saw kites on channel colours yesterday. was not bad at all compared to MNIK, kurbaan, housefull, Billu barber , etc.
i thought ravan had a theme - naxals etc. Mani probably failed to deliver message across.
Either there were too much expectations from these films or the reviewers were deliberately biased.
the only person nowadays in proper movies is aamir khan. he too is guilable of trying to act too young in his movies. 40 age shows. but movies are good.

For the same reason,Salman should have shut shop long back.Anyways,he gives 1 hit in every 3-4 years(that too multi-starrers).Akshay & Saif took more than 10 years to become an bankable star.Till the release of Kites,Hrithik was the blue eyed boy of Bollywood & this 1 flop has changed everything
