she says aptharakshaka is a hit, it was made for a budget of 8 croses and has grossed about 35-40 crores. according to trade standards , if a movie rakes in 4 times of its investment it is a blockbuster.so whatever she is calling as average is hit, and hit is a blockbuster. why is rediff hiring people who dont know the basic trade standard definitions?

Gud if TAMASSU gets dubbed to hindhi and shown all over the world especialy muslim nations.Sugreeva entered limca book of records,missed guiness book of records if at all the post production have done simulteounly.Shivanna best actor of nation..only actor to uphold Kannada flag in Inernational level.

when some one changes name for a film industry that s called pen name .....moron....he earns around 75 lacs a movie....why wont he do that ofcourse..itz worth it cuz...al that money he invests in bangalore or sandalwood......dus this make sense to you bob.......
Dear Shruti Indira Lakshminarayana, plz refer Prakash as Prakash Rai, he is not Prakash raj as u have written(for ur kind information, he was born n brought up in Mangalooru). Its OK if somebody who does not know this fact makes such a mistake. I hope u already knew this.. When he himself has written Prakash Rai in all film posters, what made u to write as Prakash raj????

We have proved that we can give life to outsiders like P.Vasu. This Tamil director got his life through Apthamitra and now continueing with Aptharakshaka.
i am surprised about the report given above. shankar ips has done very well in terms of collections,hoo got a good opening presently the movie is doing steady buisness. porki as done very well only semi-urban and rural areas compare to major cities. premisam and nanu nana kanasau has done average buiesness. otherwise most of the films have not done well including recent realese tammasu.
As per producer of the film, AptaRakshaka made 25 crores in just 50 days. Considering its run for about 125 days and still going strong in other parts of Karnataka, its collection may be somewhere around 40 crores. Porki, Prathvi have made 10 - 15 crores. Raam got released in December last week and run more this year and made somewhere around 20 crores. Another movie which got released in December 3rd week of 2009 is Maleyalai Joteyali and has grossed 10 - 12 crores. Overall a satisfactory half year.
