A.R.Rehman appreciated and pampered more than his worth!
by Deepak Raje on Jun 24, 2010 06:19 PM  | Hide replies

Rehman is a lucky musician who has been appreciated and pampered in India more than his worth. As a singer he is just ok but he cleverly hides behind his computer controls and loud music. He pretends and claims to be a shy person but in reality he grabs every opportunity to be on the stage and in the media without giving a due credit to the original singer. Rehman has lost the magic of Rosa...and his earlier music. Slumdog Millionaire music was average but because the movie was a hit all over the world he got free publicity.

A. R. Rehman has left Hinduism and has accepted Islam in India without creating any music in the media. Its fine, but now a days he is openly talking and praising Islam instead of talking about his music. That is also fine. Rehman is giving his reasons also why he likes his relgion more etc and in a subtle way is trying to criticize Hinduism and its concepts. Why? Many Hindus have played a great role in building his career...he was been loved by every secular Indian. He does not care about Hindus feelings. A. R. Rehman is really ungrateful artist.

We Hindus are united irrespective of our language and our state. We may be from East,West, North or South...we all are Hindustani. We are one big caring...loving family with greatest family values and traditions on this earth. Why are we so broadminded souls. Why are we supporting some one who is showing disrespect to our religion.

I think this fellow is one of the most overrated persons in the world. His music is just average. There are not more than 5 songs in his career which are worth remembering. His music is repetative. His music is far behind compared to RD Burman, Kalyanji- Anandji, Lakshmikant Pyarelal & Illayaraja.

How much you know about ARR...Do you his deciple or relative close...How you can say he is a good human being...you are sure from south so throwing all your anguish here...ARR is good with one kind of music but nowhere nereby to all legends like RD Burman...Is singing in western style makes him a great singer...then you are a child still and don't know anything good about music....music can be in any gener, any language....go & grow up dear...don't act here like a baby born child...

Yes..A double Oscar winner doesn't go beyond Madurai...There are millions, who love the man and his music, ready to pay any amount to see him performing live. You rue your fate and listen to naka muka...

Same song/music in a film without Irish director and not in a film showing Indian filth/dirt/slum - wouldnt have fetched him even an award in madurai. Oscar is not bible btw.

I agree with Dkamle about the Oscar award winning thing!.

But I 1000% disagree about the beyond Madurai part.

If Rahman cant go beyond Madurai.....talk about 1 music director that a north Indian film industry meaning punjabi, bengali, bihari, gujrati etc.....even bollywood for that matter ......which has created a Music director in recent times of this repute.

So Kamle....it is better than DHAGALA KAGALI KALA ...PANI TEMB TEMB GADA...Jackass!!!
