Bihar's are not as narrow minded as others. They think in terms of nations and not in terms of own language, own state, own film industry etc.

no need to show ur frustration out my dear friend...All the ppl u have mentioned has attained their popularity by hard work..so it doesnt matter how much u bark at them..ultimately u should see in this way ..street dogs bark but who cares... btb i firmly see that ur anger towards society might stem from the fact that ur m-o-m had slept with so many guys and u ultimately dont know who ur p-a-p-a(s) are.. its a sad fact but true... good luck..

Dude, from the lighter side; already we have to learn English, Regional language, Science, Maths etc. 1 more subject to our studies will add more stress.
Also, learning mother tounge gives more pleasure than learning other langaues. We will learn Hindi if there is a need i.e like job.

well said letzdisc... But its the fact that we are already overloaded with our class subjects and English, regional language etc., and the competition to get better marks and percentile which makes it tougher for anyone... maybe the not-so academically inclined guys can learn other languages etc., which is what I suppose is happening in places like Hyderabad as they speak Hindi like their MT

Although, learning Hindi does not contribute to your percentile and admissions but it does contribute to an important life skill and that's interacting with your fellow country men. Hindi acts as a link language between people and that's why learning Hindi is important.
