Leela, Naidu, was one of the most beautiful Indian face to be featured in vogues Magazine.
I have been watching her movies (thanks to Doordarshan) and must say in Anuradha, she stole the thunder from even the most natural actor Balraj, Sahni.
Wonder why all beautiful women's life is cursed, she had her share of 2 broken marriages and heart-breaks! But she faced it all with her grace....what a lovely lady!!

Why we enter in to celebrity boidy's privacy. In a debate attended by who is who like Cho Ramaswamy and others it was sought as an avoidable thing. This trend encourage intrusion in personnel life by unwanteds making lives and prestige risky and media flatter to grasp public attention.

Ms. Naidu seems incapable of saying anything nice about others. Every man wanted to try, Balraj Sahni needed to trick in order to steal a scene from this 'great' actress (strange, most people remember his acting with reverence, not hers), she turned down great men (tho in all the pics she's either hanging on to a blushing Dilip Kumar who's looking down, or acting familiar with a disinterested Shashi Kapoor or adds a pic to her book with her lifting her saree to play in the water (scandalous pic in those days I guess? :)), has the nerve to say Rehman (whom Guru Dutt repeated, so he must have been good) and Dada Moni needed many takes to complete a scene. Sorry for this lady with unpleasant memories of all others... Handsome is as handsome (says and) does...

her mother is an indologist with a PhD. Father is a nuclear phsyicist who worked with MAdam CUrie. Please knw these facts before you pass these comments.

Manipal and Nostradamus, please have complete knowledge before passing on your stupid comments. Her mother and father were highly educated. Her mother had a Phd and her father was a accomplished nuclear physicist.
