Thousands of Biharis are taking up jobs even in Kerala. We dont resent them. We dont event insist that they learn Malayalam. In fact, employers go out of their way to speak to them in Hindi. So stop spewing shit. It is south that is driving India forward now. Wake up and smell the coffee.

MR/Ms/Mrs abc xyz, Please go to Gujarat and other states that how many Tamil and other states people are employed by local employer and they are being treated equally. Try to find such examples in your own place... you won't find many... everyone favors their own people...

eeks what a stupid comment.. do you think producers are stupid to bring someone who can't speak hindi properly? Madhavan was born and brought up in Mumbai and so he can speak hindi very well..
Not everyone down south hates hindi.. it is just the tamil community..

I am not sure why we have to get someone from the linguistic-minority linguisitic community to host a Hindi show. These guys from the south can't speak Hindi properly and is not even broadcasted for their enjoyment. We should not hire linguistic-minority community. Most of them don't want to learn our national language but will take up our jobs when it suits them.

Hindi is the national language because, 1) we've to learn basic Hindi in school (forcibly for u ppl ) 2) At any public place (e.g. railway station) or customer care etc, 3 languages are used, local language, English & Hindi Apart from that, India is a big country with many languages, we need a common language.. that common language can never be English... & not Tamil obviously.. So Hindi is national language... grow up and come above language, caste, state etc barriors... P.S. I'm a non-Hindi person.. but still I respect Hindi as national language and also all other languages..

NATIONAL LANGUAGE??????
Aren't you northies ashamed of yourself to say this?????You people don't even have a standard language and with slight tinkering of urdu you call it hindi and boast that it is originated from sanskrit.......MULLAH's language cannot be made as national language in this country.....of course there are only two official languages in india ....no national language

all languages in India are originated from Sanskrit... all south Indian languages are having more Sanskrit touch then Hindi.... Respect other languages also.. your mother tongue is not the only language in the world.
