last year all the hits movies songs composed by pritam like ajab prem ki ghazb kahani,Love aaj kal,Tum mile etc..But best music director awards were given to A R Rahman for delhi 6 one song..Its pure injustice against music director pritam who gave so many super hits songs of year 2009.

Everyone knew Pritam would have copied some Korean or western songs for the films that you have listed. Awards are not for copycats.

i have nothing against this composer ( Rahaman ). He is not my personal fav, actually none of the bollywod composers are.
I just feel that this guy was plain lucky in getting the two oscars. Even if Annu malik or some third grade bollywood music director would have given music to the film, he would have easily got the oscars. His music aint a work of art, as so many proclaim.Neither is this man a genius.
He is just plain lucky.

Either you can't appreciate good music or you are hearing challenged.

Rahman is lucky, my dainty foot! He deserves an Oscar for 'Rehna Tu' alone!!

Man!! you've got audacity to question the maestro!!! It seems you've been living in some isolated part of world devoid of anything original!! you seem to be in search of existentialism forever through a haze of smoke and dust. Lemme tell you mate!! you shouldn't be comparing likes of copycat Anu Malik to Rehman!! The maestro doesn't need anybody's testimony to vouch for his work. The biggest great have appeared before him to consult abt music. You make yourself looklike a dumbass!!!Better retract your statement. Well, if ignorance is a bliss for you, continue in that state.

I agree this wasn't his best of the works... but if you say he isn't a genius and his work isn't a work of art... u definitely do not understand music... or u haven't probably given ears to his other works. listen to his other pieces... i dnt mean to say all of them are awesome... but quite a many are simply out of the world... moreover he is a human n is allowed to make mistakes, although this isn't one of them... He wouldn't have so many fans around the world if his work wasn't unique in his own way. He definitely deserves oscars n much more for a lot of his other masterpieces... its just that they never got the required (international) exposure. I'm sure you'll have a hell lot of replies to your post here... good luck!

Why is the collapse in Detroit impacted the plans at Toronto? Did the stage artists get hurt too? Sounds suspicious..

I don't think enough tickets were sold in Detroit or Toronto so they cancelled the show. Was he really in Detroit?

I know someone who went to Detroit show, the lighting system collapsed and someone was injured fairly seriously. And they cancelled the show at 6:30 in the evening just before the start of the show.

I think even though the article may not be worth reading but the discussion forum is always an entertainer...People tend to discuss ridiculous issues rather than focusing on a healthy and worthy debate...Now as I have written this, I am expecting someone to drop a one liner to disgust my views...
