After hearing about bad reviews, I took a chance to watch Ravanan. I found the movie to be very captivating, the locales, camera work, songs, dialogues were all simply superb. The performances of all actors Vikram, Aishwarya, Prabhu, Karthik & Priya Mani was exceptional. Aishwarya looks very very beautiful in this movie. Maniratnam has not done justice to Prithviraj's character; that probably is the only blemish. But it is definitely a 4 star movie. We are doing injustice to Maniratnam by trying to get social message from his movies; just watch it for what it is.
Classy, fantastic, very good effort. Only Mani Rathnam can give this kind of class movies. Mani Rathnam Sir pls do take this kind of movies. Everything superb. Going to watch one more time in PVR. Pavithra ur stars does not match my review. It is full 5 stars. Get yourself elevated in writing reviews.
