Very valid point about the nearly 20000 Tamils killed in Sri Lanka by the Sri Lankan Rajapakse rogue forces and the IIFA staged its award ceremony in Colombo aiding the Sri Lankan economy. Anupam Kher should be equally principled in all situations. The majority Hindu culture is denigrated in many films and the films are still released and screened uncensored.
he says human emotions are more important but he didn't care for the human emotions of the 20000 people who were killed in 3 days by the Sri Lankan army when he went to IIFA. I lost all respect for him.
Good this was scrapped, as Anupam, Kher, as hitler will look comical than menancing!! and he will not able to do any justice to the role..professionally.

Hitler was a great fighter against injustice and he was infact very kind. So his role must be by a good and intelligent actor.

yes...muziiess are very peaceful and never indulge in violence..in fact gujrat violence was not started by muzziess..as kar sevaks themselves performed self immolation..anyway..it would have been an intesresting film with anupam..but now what can be done...
Anupam Kher is a great actor but he could not have done the role of Hitler as he looks more like a comedian and he has a soft face. Only one actor in Indian Cinema could have done justice to the role of Hitler, the one and only Legend Sir Amrish Puri. Now, that he is dead probably Danny can do that role.

Make no mistakes about Anupam Kher. He is very versatile and can mould himself into any role.
A similar Holocaust was inflicted on the innocent Sikhcommunity in 1984. But surprising the perpetrator of that holocaust is regarded secular leader and is even Bharat Ratna. We Indians are such hypocrites, Germans atleast accept that their leader was wrong in murdering jews, but we Indians still hold that leader in high esteem whi justified massacre on innocent sikhs in 1984.

1984 killers are still occupying top posts. what a shame for Indian Democracy. The people killed in 1984 were in no way involved in any terrorism, they were innocent civilians.

The terrorists in Punjab were killed or punished for their misdeeds. But not even ainsle killer of the 1984 sikh-genocide has been punished. Why so much injustice towards one community. Justice should be equal.
Its a wrong decision, we have to move out of our own view and try and see different things. He was perfect for this role, what a shame. he shud have done this work.
