Don't forget one thing....Guys like Raju Hirani never goes to your place. But Mani & co comes to Mumbai because the world knows bollywood & not your Telgu or Tamil Industry. Discarded actresses like Khusboo,Shimran or Nagma become godess in your state. Rajnikant come here to play Amitabh's side kick but Amitabh never go to your state.If they are not hungry for fame they wouldn't have get associated with Hindi film industry.. Ilayaraja was a legend before maniratnam started making movies. Infact it was because of ilayaraja's music mani's films ran. Ilayaraja was a superstar on par with rajinikanth and kamalhassan. Making maniratnam responsible for ilayaraja's success is insult to all the great work done by the maestro who has a symphony composed.

Do you feel you don't have that. Even Rajani was Po ru kki one time.
That was not EGO superman it was pressure on him, Ilayaraja was doing music for more than 80 films in a year during that period. He has to look all the directors and producers in a same view. He cannot sit with mani, balachander and Bharathiraja months together for 5 songs and 2 hours re-recording, for him just 4 to 5 days was enough to complete a film.

that is what he did focused on quantity!!! he was never able to break the north south barrier his music invokes only sad memories in life samjhe AADHI CARAVAN

To all ppl who are shouting abt kannada movies only recent hit, it was kannada film which he directed first. What to do these fellows after becoming famous will not remember kannada which is as usual(some examples who do not remember kannada industry is anilkapoor). Brothers pls grow up. This is india not kannada,tamil,telugu or hindi. Which movie is better will win, it will not depend on language.
