Question, who is better does'nt arise at all now as The verdict was For Sandeep. He won the Indian Idol and he is deserving. Measurng Success by how many films he signed for play back singing, is not correct. May be he is busy with other assignments and most important he is Happy in whatever he is.
I am really pity on this Sandeep.... He is not having a single song in any of the languages though after becoming Indian Idol 2... In that way Karunya is singing quite well in southern films... Sandip is flop singer.. (sorry Sandip, but this is the fact)....

buddy, don't make such hard comments.
I suppose, Sandeep is doing much better in his lyf than ppl like who r giving such hard comments.
Public did vote for him and he won.
I also followed Indian Idol 2......Karunya way my fav. too but we can not change the result. As Karunya is a better singer, he will do definitely better than him.

u see none of the idols has had a hit in films since the iception of the show. u have these idols singing songs of other singers but there is none to their credit. u cannot create a sonu nigam or a kk just like that.these people have to realise that they just dont have in them. they have been selected by a bunch of fools who know nothing about music.what matters is voice quality and diction rest all can be improved in the recording studio.singing live is different from playback which requires quality voice and not knowledge of music.u wanna know more about music get in touch with me

buudy what u are trying to tell is that people have voted as per the regional pattern. it is indeed a shame that in our country we cannot be one. programs like these should be banned where people have to vote as per regionalistic bias and not as per talent.to hell with all the regional fans. long live our country

Pandeyji, read the comment properly before commenting.. No where does he say anything about superiority complex.. If you have any knowledge about music and are truthful, you would realise that Karunya was way better than Sandeep Acharya who got public votes, just like Amit Paul was way better than useless Prashant Tamang who became the Indian Idol because people were paid to sit and send sms votes all day for him..Just becoming Indian Idol does not mean that they are the best singers as unfortunately people in this program vote not for the best singers but someone from their region, language, city etc..This is the bitter truth about our country where even after 60 years people first consider themselves north indian, south indian, bihari, maharashtrian, tamilian, delhiwalla etc than an Indian first.

I am a north indian but still I feel that Karunya was best just because of his talent. We as human does have some biased feelings for our regions but when you listen so good voice of a person that touches your heart and soul than you can't help but praise him crossing all the boundaries.
