All his action-spice movies during his early heydays either flopped or were just average.

For the reason that this film almost flopped/ was average when it was released; but over the years has grown onto become a 'cult classic' as so many experts have pronounced it to be.

@Bollywood sequels
by Siddhartha Ghosh on Jun 08, 2010 06:35 PM

if bolltwood is looking for doing sequels then they should do films from the older generation hindi movies(50's,60's,70's)as those days stories were very powerful n the only disadvantage was technology!! and in these generations the technology is so advanced but NO STORY and movies r going in ONE way story but those days movies were complete package where u could find thrill,action,romance,comedy,etc!!
So according to my opininon directors should also look old 50's,60's movies to get idea in making films!! Even they should look regional movies like telugu,bengali,tamil,etc instead of finding stories in Hollywood movies!!

Inferior
by Don Kernash on Jun 08, 2010 04:59 PM  | Hide replies

Bollywood of 60s & 70s was best. Today it has become a pathetic inferior attempt to copy hollywood. Be it their langauge, their songs, their themes, their stories and now their actors.

I would say from silent movies till 1965, after that blight started setting in and what we get to-day is waste of cellolide and as for music my tortoise can produce better musical notes when he squeaks.
