Its a good Movie. Not regular stuff an some what close to reality. I liked it. Hope most of you would be. ve Ranbir , Arjun, Nana (great underplay.. against its natural style), Manoj. -ve - Sometime boring (very few instances), Katrina Over hype in adds but very small role though she did what she can Rating 3.5/5 Must watch one time if you like something other than regular love stories.

Rajneeti broke all the records of shah rukh khan movies rajneeti is second best after Kites.
Movies fails to grip you,too much unrealistic violence,unrealistioc characters do not help either. Arjun Rampal rocks and so does Ranbir and Ajay. 2 out of 5 stars.
manoj bajpai(in the movie), has done everything right -because his father did mistake of not making him a leader -rest he has done everything right
but these two stu.pids brothers wants to kill everyone and get killed also ,and ranbir character is the most negative because he fools two ladies for his ambition (he is a p.i.g in the movie
how they kill opposition leader and dalit leader in the end and can be saved it can neveer happen in the world,,(what happen is scams CBI inquiry etc,
Arjun Rampal gave a superb performance in this movie. Raja Sen would have understood that if he was not under the impression that Arjun was acting as Sonny Corleon. Arjun was playing character with nuances of Bhim and Yudhistir, every other reviewer has noted Arjun's performance. The movie is also not bad. Worth much more than 1.5 stars. It has many flaws. But its gripping and does not bore.
I completely disagree with Mr Raja Sen. I found the movie interesting, acknowledging the bollywood melodrama ( Karna & Kunti, Karna's death etc), it deals with intellect. I guess we are pretty well accustomed with our politicians' greed & violence, & the last but not the least manipulation. So, there is no point of denial! The story rotates around election- but it narrates the living of all socio-economic classes. Ranbir had done an excellent job. Arjun Rampal & Ajay Devgan tried their level best. Nana Patekar delivered one of his most natural performance as well as Katrina Kaif.Each & every events of the movie depicts that Raajneeti ia a game played by brain, not heart.So, Kudooooos to Prakash Jha..

mr raja sen is right...its such a bad film made by prakash jha. i expected a lot and went to see it. its such a boring movie. my verdict single star out of five.
Except that violence was bit too much (and one weak scene where bharti tries to convince Ajay devgan to come back home) , the movie was excellent. All characters played their roles intensely, and plot was good. Raja sen... yo

Raja sen... you have a baggage on your mind of having watched too many movies, and your stupid confidence in your abilities to link the plots, rather than having a simple ability to enjoy the movie... and yes, may be your knowledge of communist politics does not allow you to see other's view point clearly... go and join Mamta Banarjee, for god's sake...
