Any time some white celebrity in the western hemisphere lauds or acknowledges some exported Indian or ABCD, editorial staff at Rediff collectively wets their pants in ecstasy!
This morbid need for western acknowledgment and validation is an abnormal characteristic of Indian media.
Members of Indian media appear to have such a serious inferiority complex that they need to find instances where some random Indian is recognized by a white celebrity to make them feel normal.

Hey thats typical Indian mentality... we'll try all our efforts in stopping fellow Indian from growing... and finally when he does become something big... we all try and take credit... like I helped him when he was small... he is my friend etc etc etc...

I agree... Indians pull each other's leg... even a smile is so dearly to them that if an Indian see another Indian in any part of USA, he will become rock solid expressionless, but if the same person sees a white the immediate reaction will be a smile followed by "hey, How are you today...?"... nerds...

Pathetic? Thats what you are! I suppose you either don't know or don't realise what Deepak Chopra is.
This Guy is beyond boundaries, and we should be proud he was born an Indian, whatever he's teaching today is based on Indian principles.
