Will Raavan be stopped?
by Franklin on Jun 08, 2010 02:10 PM

Govinda who acted in the Hindi version of Raavan attended the iifa function in Colombo. Does that mean Raavan will not be screened in theaters in Tamil Nadu?

Bachchan, SRK chickens

Bachchan and SRK shouldn't have given in to Tamil industry's arm twisting tactics. Esp Bachchan, as he is the brand ambassador. Iifa and problems in Sri Lanka are absolutely unrelated and Bachchan should have taken a stand like that. Iifa organisers should reconsider retaining him as the brand ambassador.

Tamil Industry bullying bollywood
by Kavishwar Mahajan on Jun 04, 2010 10:59 AM  | Hide replies

Iifa venues are declared months in advance. What was the Tamil industry doing when the Sri Lanka was declared as the venue? They kept mum then and started shouting just a few days before the event. They want the event to be cancelled after all the preparation. And any case their protests are baseless. Iifa is not a Sri lankan government's event and Tamils are unnecessarily mixing up the issues. Kudos to Salman, Hrithik and Sanjay for sticking to their commitment.

Only the losers and chokers
by camaron on Jun 04, 2010 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

Only the losers and chokers with sick mentality, which is trademark of typical nortthhhie attend this non-event.
This is kind of blessing in disguise for Tamizhs, as it will strengthen our fight against barbarians, which we have doing successfully in the last 3 millennium.

The fact remains Bollywood shhhittts love only Money nothing else. They all got heavy kickbacks from Lonaka GOvt , which is nothing but the so-called aid given by Hindian Govt to help the suriving tamizhs ,after one of the worst genocide in the history of Mankind.

Very good decision. Lets these tamilians bark. they dont have any other work. Always keep on fighting. Why should we care about other countries internal matter. thousands of people around the world are killed in different countries due to war. But these tamilians feel the brutality only in Srilanka. Loosers

Also many charity programmes are conducted for the welfare of people living in srilanka by IIFA

WE,Sri Lankan do not care IIFA or Bollywood much. Our first priory is peaceful country without LTTE terrorists.
So, you can have IIFA here or not it is your choice. We do not like intimidation and politics from neighbor countries because a simple award ceremony of a another country.
By the way there are friendly countries like China, Pakistan,Russia,Brazil, Iran and many more other countries alawys help our cause all times.
So,why we worry about LTTE and India now.
Sri Lanka, Please do not forget who are the Indians and what they done in the past.Do not forget real friends. Please keep the distance and let them to have their IIFA anywhere they like. It is good it is not to have in Sri Lanka at all. We do not need cardboard heroes from India.

Sam
