No that is not true. What you are saying is the work of a music director. The talent of a singer comes based on how well ( pitch, rythm, expression) they can sing a song. Originality is a trait of music director.

very true... thats why all such contestants in these singing competition get chance of playback singing... all dese r befooled by channels, judges and media... these prog giv a stage bt cnt assure for playback singing... the main reason behind the failure of all these contestants is they are nt gud in classical singing... unless u wnt hv strong base of classical singing, u wnt b able to stand in competiotion of playback singing.... it hs been proved a no. of times that the winner or top 5 singers in such rubbish competitions hvnt got chances of singing even by those composers who wr their judges....
