being flirt, greedy for media attention, immature OR loose character....NONE OF ABOVE have anything to do with domestic violence. You might be lucky enough to not really know what it actually means, and how it is to go through it. I hope you never know, but get some empathy woman, give some respect to womanhood of yours. Women in India hardly stand up for the dignity of women, no wonder the domestic violence in India is so high and so well accpeted by masses!!! Shame..............

Rightly said. Di Caprio walked out of Mel Gibson's movie, coz the latter was accused of domestic violence.
Here we will have people investigate reasons to accuse the girl!! The girl was publicity-crazy - agreed. Yet, beating her to prove a point - nasty!!

Sister...goes both ways..if the women deserves respect she will get support from everyone. Dimpy is not one of those.

Brother - what you have said is true - women who deserve respect will get it.
But the converse isnt applicable. That, even a woman who deserves to be beaten - cannot and should not be beaten in a civil society.
it does not make sense to write comment on rahul-dimpy. i feel, it is waste of time. unnecessary importance is given to rahul. the media and tv channels are getting mileage. trp levels keep on increasing. people enjoy watching such incidents. more and more gossip.
So this Dimpy lady has to file the complaint and then National Commission of Women will act on it!
Don't they know the drill here, Wife gets beaten in the night and husband asks for forgiveness in the morning, and the wife says okay and the cycle continues.

Tirath, domestic violence is no way acceptable, yes. Will you do this to the poor and middle-class?
Is National Violence accepted, if not Domestic violence? Is there any National Council, that our politicians and other corrupt government officials can be dealt with for all their ill-doings?

this all drama may be publicity stunt to attract attention of people. Our MEDIA is over exicted with this stupid episode. Instead so said MEDIA should consentrate to thousand of BECHARI women who used to get harrased by their husbands
