Rajini name is known as amitab name is known in India. I am just rating on the popularity. his movies are still liked by many south indians like Andra, kerla , kannada.. thats the reason they are investing 200 crore on him.

Water knows its own level.Moreover, Kannada film industry makes movies on a modest budget compared to Telugu and Tamil Movies. Hence, it will become unremunerative for film producers to make a film with Rajini as a good portion of film budget will be used up for paying him. Definitely not sound economics.

Mr,Pen, U r right.. Without talent he has been the asia's second highest paid and india's highest paid actor. I am not against kannada. I liked kannada in when raaj and vishnu were there but not anymore. If u say rajni has no talent, it means our own rajkumar and vishnu had no talent.
this poster cost would be the budget of many movies watvr u proclaim...shankar wanted to make this movie after he made indian aka hindustani...G it..no hue n cry guys....get a life...wait for ARR music on 31st...then u will say this tune is actually lifted...nobody knows hollywood kannada movie...now it can get popular relating to endiran...thts the power of superstar...is thr one superstar whos as simple as him....hats off thalaiva...
Even before the release of Endhiran if the Director is going the safe route of remaking proven hit ( 3 idots ) means.... appadina.... Endhiran oru (is) super flop endru artham . if not why should he even talk about it now other than to save himself by making way.... nalla point ?

one other reason could be not to hype much about the movie which lead to failure obivously... true for all hyped movies
I think its funny that people who don't like Rajanikanth and south Indians take all the time to abuse here! Get a life folks. If you don't like Rajani or his movies dont watch it. Simple.
BTW, He looks awesome here. For his age, he is in great shape.Can't wait for the movie.
