If Bollywood wants an 'industry' status which includes getting loans from Banks (both of these were their earlier demands) & stuff like that, it has to show good Hit film results 1st like Aamir & his director/producer does. A lot of money is blown up in crores like bursting diwali crackers without any results. Flops after flops appear most of the time. I think as far as i know, then the only way they can raise money is through their own company stocks listing like Balaji Telefilms etc etc.
Looks like people r loosing their taste. variety is spice of life. And now a days no akshay kumar movie offers anything new. All ghissa pita comedy. This man shd take a break or he will soon be govinda. And movies like lamhaa, udaan are flop. Seriously people and u say nothing new is offered.

I agree both Udaan and Lamha are 100 times better than this crap called Khatta Meetha.
Indian Audience need to grow up soon or we will continue to see this Akki-Govinda type movies .

Infact, we bored with same crap movies from g_@_y king kong. Which most movies are brainless r_o_n_a d_h_o_n_a. He will be sooner or later, a m_e_n_t_a_l retired mar00n.
The movie is outdated and childish. More like watching a telivision Serial.
There are som eloyal fans who will take any crap form SRK and Akki. Fact is the last few movies have been downright ridiculous. But with jokers like some people on this board , any movie which has these stars they will start defening from Day 1 of the release. Its so pathetic to see such fools, who don't have a taste for movies, but have a blind following of some so called stars who feast on their money.

add salman to the list too. he and akshay has the most fan following in single screens. the more the critics dump their movies the more the audience are lapping them up.
There is high chances it will be declared as HIT. Because , below are the points :
1. It is a medium budget movie around 30 crores. 2. Akki's Hari Om Ent and Shri Ashtavinayak Prod. are the joint producers. 3. As per boxofficeindia dot com report, it has collected decent 22.84 crores in first 3 days. 4. Even if from Monday onwards it falls 30 to 40%, the it can reach 30 crores easily. So, life time business could be around 45 to 50 crores in India alone, which will give distributor % of share nearly 22 to 27 crores. 5. With satellit rights, television rights only India, will give them more than double what they had spend on this film.
So, technically this movie should be HIT.
-Ve points :
1. As usual most of the critics, have given average ratings. Which is very normal now-a-days for Akki's movie. 2. Bad marketing, showing this movie as another comedy flick with Priyan, but truth is this movie is attached with more emotion and day to day life in any small town in India, and corruption from the root. 3. Movie theme is based on village or small town, which may not attract multiplex audiences.
Let's wait and watch. Hope it does well at box office.
In my opinion, I saw this movie on Sunday, and it is not a bad movie. Wonder, how Taran Adarsh gave 1 1/2 star to this movie.
Please check with the producer of RED ALERT whether the film is hit or flop...he has recovered the nominal budget of this film only from overseas, overseas dvd, home video and satellite. Please don't make sweeping damaging declarations before cross checking cost of film and receipts.
