People are used to seeing avika since the time the serial was on air and so her departure is likely to upset many viewers. Change is painful and can be seen here also. Over a period of time people will start liking her provided the show does not become boring like "kyuki saas bhi bahu thi". It has to move fast like a thriller movie and has to show all shades of life and probably conclude else it will be discarded like other popular shows.
I strongly feel that Anandi should not be changed, with a little careful makeup Avika can be continued. And even more Pratyusha doesn't resemble Anandi..........
