this is one of the many hindi movies which has been properly aligned with its malayalam original version. Rajpal Yadav was especially good. i even felt he did better than what Jagadish did in malayalam. I forgot the actual road-roller scene. I think some masala is added in this one. but it was funny to watch johnny lever. Akshay Kumar cannot do anything more than this. His character is like that. Even though it appears for some people that he did a bad work, its natural. But you have to accept those flaws cos anyway you are spending money and you don't have to waste it ;)
Overall nothing much to be conveyed by this movie. The viewer shouldn't use too much intelligence. Enjoy at least the first two-third of the movie. Ignore the tragedies later on, then this movie is definitely watchable.
I don't know why the AK has acted in this sort of movie which is no way matches his stardom in Bollywood.Its a D grade movie with boring dialogues.Wish th hero not to act in such movies.
i guess priyan has lost his mind...and AK too...he is gone out of the track after WELCOME. the movie is amazingly boring and badly made. bad dialogues, bad acting ( except asrani ). yadav is horrible in this movie. he and johny is completely wasted. no use at all...plz dont waste ur money on this movie.

He should get retired now. Watchingkhatta Meetha is a pain. Stupid movie from a good director like priyan.
the first part make you laugh a lot... all viewers were laughing madly in the theatre. the second part make u cry.. priyadarshan make me cry through this movie... very heart.touchable ... finally make u again laugh.
a well made film !!!! akshay and priyadarshan rocks ... both are no. 1 director and actor..
