I liked him very much in Masoom and maqbool but his role in KHUDA KE LIYE is really worth mentioning, i shows us how 5 minute of horizontal performance can give 400% gain in vertical height of a cinema peice.

He was not there in Maqbool. I think you are confused with Iqbal. Maqbool would be remembered for excellent acting by another doyen - Pankaj Kapoor and very well supported by Irfan Khan and Taboo.

But yes, Khuda Ke Liye, though had Naseer only for 5 minutes, those 5 minutes had more content than the rest of the movie. Unfortunately the Pakistani version has censored those 5 minutes because it did not go well with the fundamentalists in that country.

Happy Bday

Happy Birthday to you Naseer ji. No doubt you're the best actor in Bollywood, no matter if Bachan is one of my favorites as well. The variety roles you have done is simply amazing. There are number of favorites, but your roles in Khamosh, Jalwa, Tridev, and Wednesday are memorable. Even your performance in Monsoon Wedding is awesome. The scene where you handle the Brother in Law character to leave the wedding, is superbly done. I don't think anyone could have shown that intensity without much of a fuss. Long live you and Long you act in movies!
