Cinemas in 70's & 80's is considered one of the golden period for Telugu cinema industry, thankss to K Vishwanath. He is one such director whose movies run becoz of the strength of the story and not on the star power, example for that was shankarabaranam. There was no famed hero, heroines, but a totally unknown people like somayajulu and Manju bhargavi. It went on to become a cult in Telugu cinema industry. We all rave about hollywood movie Forrest Gump, but decade before there was a movie called Swati Mutyam which had a similar plot with a different sotryline, but we talk about forrest gump not swati mutyam, I feel sorry for that. K vishwanath is indeed one of the great director of Indian cinema, he is a legend some of his other movies which i recommend is Sagara Sangaman, Swayam Krishi, Siri Siri Muva....
I am sure Shubapradam going to be a good movie to watch out for.
