Every year Malayalam Films and the actors win more National Awards.This is not a big surprise since recomondations are to be done by the respective state govt. to the Central Film Award committe.But in the selection jury most of the committe members are Mallus only.So these ppl are claiming that mallus are the only great actors in this world-:)

idiot. This time shaji n karun was the jury chairman. he is malayali. not single mallu movie got major award this time. dont worry there are good movies for 2009 national awards. wait and see..

Mallu films are shown their right place by the Jury Chairman Shaji.N.Karun who himself a mallu!!!.....Mallu films are in a pathetic state now without any young talents...dominated by the same oldies wearing black wigs or using godrej dye even if they are potraying middle aged characters!!!

wat the hell r u talking about. there is nothing related to age. if thats the case then u should never watch any hollywood movies. all r oldies there man. they also with wigs and dye.. actors is always actors how they deliver is more important. not their age. fool

Very few men can resist the temptation to look young and Malayalam actors are no exception. By the way, Mammooty is perhaps the most handsome 57-year-old you can ever hope to see and we should compliment him for this.

Kamal is the best actor and mohan lal the 2nd best in india. but mammotty too very special and class actor. infact all these 3 are acting universitys and cannt compare. Mammotty wil surely win national award for his Pazashiraja . Bollywood actors are just jokers they dont know acting and limit them selves in filmfare and lux awards only.
Bollywood jokers shoud see and learn acting from this acting university. Kamal , mammotty and mohan lal have no comparison , they r indian cinema's pride and proud

Mr.Prince Mamooty has won only two and half awards.(the third one was shared with Ajay Devagan.On the other hand KamalHasan has won 4 National awards including the first national award he has won for the film Kalathur Kannama in 1959. All the awards are straight one without sharing with anybody.Kamal also won 20 Filmfare awards and wrote to filfare officials not to consider him for awards anymore!!!..Kamal is also well known througout India. But beyond Chennai very few people know Mammooty!!!
