Avatar poised to sink the Titanic

Pls dont compare with just revenue collection

Titanic came more than 10 years ago. At that time normal ticket price was around 50-100 in a superior theatre. Today it is 300-400. The same would be the case of how much the movie distributors would charge. What you are seeing today cannot be compared directly with the the then Titanic revenue generation at all. You need to consider the X million of 1998 to todays value for the same.

in 1997, when Titanic was released... i still remember that we paid just Rs. 30 ($1.25 at that time)@ Sterling theater in Churchgate... while, i paid $14 (Digital 3-D)in NJ to watch Avatar last month..

Marathi and Tamil movies are much better than movie like Avatar .. but we never give support these by watching in theaters ..instead we watch on pirated CD's..

i do fill the way you think but let me know if you have watched AVATAR movie in theatre.

if not go watch and then wright any article regarding the movie, i know that tamil,telugu, marathi and other regional language movie are very well return and watchful but AVATAR is exceptional in all the jounars

In tamil and marathi movies heros will be flying from one place to another when fighting, his shirt or pant will not become neither nor creased is that right or wrong???
