Most neglected/non popular person in film,.... could be cinematographer despite being the most important ingredient after producer/director. Efforts of director/producer/actors could spoil without good cinematographer. His/her sense has to be at par with producer/director for the success of a film,..

Also it seems like you are a typical Maharastrian who always blames others especially outsiders when he knows that he is not good enough of achieving anything in life.
It is heartening to note that true talent is recognised, albeit a little later than expected. Murthy's work in Pyaasa and Kagaz ke phool are the stuff that even legends talk about in awe.. remember that beam of light during pyaasa's song picturised on Guru Dutt??
