On the Eve of 2010 Raja sen came for online interview in rediff but signed out so soon as everybody started asking him about his critics and he went out without answering and closed down the show immaturely . Leave him he is pathetic bugger
Why does this Shankar Mahadevan sing his own songs? He is singing for past 10 years and still not able to sing in chaste hindi but he insists on singing Hindi songs. Dear Mr. Shankar, You are a very good music director and you 3 (SEL) make an excellent team but you have to understand that a song sounds good only when it is sung with the right pronounciations and the correct nuances. The only good song in this album to hear is the one sung by KK. This is one guy who can sing Hindi songs like anything. It's a pity we don't get to hear much of him. Mr. Shankar stop singing your good songs and give others a chance (KK, Sonu, Shaan etc. etc..). We know you can do great things like singing 'Breathlessly' but please stop singing Hindi songs and ruining the albums.

Same reason as Udit Narayan sings in South Indian languages in chaste kannada, tamil, telugu etc.

Well you didn't get my point. A singer sings for a music director. The music director should have the knowledge of which song will suit which voice and will get his songs sung by a particular singer. A good music director would know how to get the right singer for his songs and make the song more effective.
Here Shankar Mahadevan himself is the music director making beautiful renditions but then he is not delivering these good music through the right medium (singers) and hence the beauty gets lost. For 'Wake Up Sid - Iktara' song he uses 'Kavita Seth' and look how nicely it has come out. The song has even gone to win an award for the way it has been rendered beautifully by the singer.

Whatever the reviews say about present day Bollywood songs, truth is they are jus garbage. third class highly annoying songs. these bunch of present day Music directors like SEL, pritam,sulaiman... etc are rubbish without any creativity and inoovativeness. they themselves shoudl get annoyed with their compositions. jus name one good song in recent years. total crap. fat that matter, we still have fantastic songs coming up every now n then in south barring telugu rubbish songs. once in a blue moon u get a good song in tamil, kannada still has highly talented Music directors and fabulous songs. No wonder Sonu, shreya and kunal sing in every sound track that gets released in kannada. They all get amazingly melodius songs to sing and we are blessed.

dude.. when you criticize a song why do u blame the entire industry..for example telugu songs..telugu industry has given some good songs and is still giving.. and all other languages are also giving good songs..i always think that one day rediff will have a section of user comments where on guy from a particular state does not blame the songs of other states.. but people like u always pop up.. have u heard all the songs in the telugu industry or any other language for that matter before u can make such a comment and u have just insulted almost all the current music directors..though they are exceptionally talented.. lucky the rest of the people dont think like you !!!!
