this honour will be totally shared with all karantak people, it is more proud to thank who had vision opening small instituion called S J POLYTEHCNICS with his money after the retirement from Divan post of Myore. today Mr.V.K Murthy with whole heartdly salutes Sri.M. VIVESWRAYA & Mysore Maharaj.

It is really a good achievement. Expecially Kannadigas are very pleased. He is the second Kannadiga who has got Dada Phalke award after Dr.Rajkumar.

He is actually the third kannadiga to win the phalke award. The first kannadiga to win the award was V Shantaram, but he worked extensively in hindi and marathi cinema and theatre
