After reading Raja Sen's critique of 3 idiots, I am now convinced beyond a shadow of doubt that this gentleman is the best Indian film critic.
The man has demonstrated he has the balls to give us the unadulterated truth.
If you're one of the thousands of idiots who walked out of '3 idiots' without having the balls to admit that you had just sat through 3 hours of mediocrity that was brilliantly packaged, then that's your problem.
For all the rest, Raja Sen is film critiquing at its finest.

A person trying to be different doesn't mean he is the finest.
I think you got it the other way round. All genius people were different, but not all people who are different are genius.
Raja tries too hard to be different.
I think he has got a good understanding, and has a decent technical sense, but in trying too hard to be different, he more often than not comes up with articles, that brushes everyone the wrong way.
Negative pubicity is also good publicity after all.

Arnab you deserve to be a film critic.Regarding Raja Sen...you are just Spot on....Not everyone who is different is genius..good observation to associate RS.

Raja sen indeed has the balls to write the truth ! the problem with we indians is that we dont have the balls to accept the truth !Munnabhai is way better than 3 idiots which is mediocrity packed brilliantly !

Exactly! Munnabhai was a work of genius. 3 idiots is David Dhawan masala with sophisticated execution...vastly over-rated...by idiots! :)

one movie like 3 idiots makes up for a yearlong of avg n bad movies.. but can't have something like 3i often.. 3i shows that u dont need item girls, songs, foreign locations 100 packs super hot women or crazy budget.to be a hit u just need lot of hard work in scripting more than anything else first nowadays have movies have everything except scripts even the biggest star cannot save a bad script
Though, I haven’t seen this movie, but it seems these Raja Sen. doesn't like any movie (reason is best known to him). He criticised master piece such as 3 idiots and this one also. Guys we need badly a fair and an honest review. Please.
