Jay Leno is pathetic, unfunny, scheming greedy. Nobody is going to watch him
Its like this ... Jay and Conan are good in their own rights, over the years Tonight show has become Jay's truf and Jay has become bigger than tonight show. It would have worked out if conan was given his own show, rather they tried to fit him into Jay's shoes. They wanted Jay's style and expressions and sense of humours of connan.

Me 2. I did not like Conan's humour. But let's say no one could be compared to Johnny Carson, and David Letterman is the second best. Jay Leno's demeanour in itself makes one laugh.
This was bound to happen sooner or later. Fortunately, for the viewers and for NBC it has happened sooner. O'Brien was no patch on Jay Leno, leave aside Johnny Carson. He was not effective at all and did not create/generate any real comedy or laughter. He was mundane from day one and appreared to be a compromise candidate for the post of talkshow host. NBC must be very careful in appointing talk show hosts.
