Imitations!!

99% of the good films in Indian cinema are Hollywood inspired or copied. Does it mean that our people cant think of their own ideas and have to get inspired from Hollywood? Does it mean that people in Hollywood are more sharper in brains and mind?

Its always strange that Hollywood is compared with Indian Films.

Our films are special and different in our own style and Indian audience taste.

No one bothers about hollywood films these days.

This is a racy action entertainer..

good movies regardless of the fact that it is inspired by 2 popular hollywood movies, Bank Job and Crimes of Passion. The beauty of remake lies in the effort of hidding the orignal. Not many new that it was a hollywood remake, though all of us guessed it must me. I think that itself is a sucess.

Istn't it ironic that film's title is "nanayam". Atleast, if they were "nanayam"(Honest) enough to credit the Hollywood would film from which various scenes have been lifted, film crew could ve been appreciated for atleast on this asapect.

James Hardley Chase

Not that it matters so much, but this story is a copy of James Hardley Chase novel "My Laugh Comes Last."

The book is awesome and if they have done justice to it, then it will surely turn out to be an excellent movie.
