True, Paa saw Amitabh deliver an exemplary performance but the Actor is well-known for that already. It showed Abhishek playin 'paa' to his real-life Pa,a refreshin political approach, Vidya playin Doc n mom to a Progeria patient. But thats just about where the novelty ended for me. I loved the movie, I loved Auro but what did I take back from the movie-some cute scenes and Auro's amazing witty Auro's one-liners. But then I saw 3 Idiots. You remember that song "Boss kaun tha, maloom hai kya". Well, that song a decade later would talk of Aamir Khan in the same way we talk of Amitabh now. He seems to evolve as an even better actor with every movie that he's making these days. Added to that a Director like Raju Hirani who makes wholesome entertainers with a strong message that inspire you to do something, to change the way you live, think, exist. And if a movie can deliver this, what else does one need !

Why are you guys so biased. Why don't you publish the records of the so called polling or is it just that you and your Raja Sen have personal grudges against Aamir Khan ???? I am boycotting your site and shifting to Indiatimes.
I thought 3 Idiots was and deserved to be no. 1 movie of 2009. Instead, I see it at no. 2 and Paa at no. 1. Also, judging from the ever-increasing box office collections of 3 Idiots, I find that more and more people are loving this movie and are watching it in theaters, many even for a repeat viewing. The same did not happen that much for Paa. So, I ask you, rediff: is this voting really readers' choice or rediff's choice?

True man.. Gulaal was amazing but it has its own class and meant for certain ppl.. others may not understand and rate it properly..
